Tecomak offer a total filter management service - supply, installation,
validation and disposal. We keep many standard filters in stock
and hold stock for many of our clients under contract for immediate
delivery.

Filter Engineering
Filter technology is becoming ever more advanced as the
demands for environmental and product protection increase.
The correct selection of an air filter for a given application
requires an understanding of both filter engineering and the
regulations governing its use.
The diagram on the left shows how the overall efficiency
of a particulate filter is the result of a combination of
4 basic filtration mechanisms (sieving, inertia, interception
and diffusion).
General Ventilation
The correct selection of an air filter for general
ventilation (air supply into offices, shops, work places
etc) is critical if running costs are of concern. The
filter life cycle cost is often not considered, but can
have significant impact on the total running cost of a
plant. Most air-handling systems (old and new) are fitted
with poorly specified filters that can more than double
maintenance costs. We offer a free life cycle cost analysis

Clean Process - Product Protection
When air cleanliness is a requirement for an industrial
or medical process the air filter system employed is
of paramount importance. The use of high efficiency
particulate air (HEPA) and ultra low penetration air
(ULPA) filters is now widespread.
Working in partnership with the worlds leading filter
manufacturer we are able to supply, install and validate
to the highest standard.

Hazardous Processes - Operator Protection
Health and safety is assured in both the workplace and
the external environment by the removal and control of many
different contaminants discharging from commercial, chemical
and industrial processing.
Activated carbon filters possess the ability to remove a
wide range of odours, gases and chemical vapour contaminants
from air streams. Utilising different grades of activated
carbon, high contaminant removal efficiencies are possible
in critical applications.
HEPA filters are widely used to remove toxic or bacterial
particles with efficiencies greater than 99.999%.
Tecomak has considerable experience with safe change filter
systems, originally designed for the nuclear process industry
but now widely used in hospital isolation units and research
containment laboratories.
